The tale in damaged SOUP begins instantly from web page one.
While Rowan is in line at a store, an odd boy attempts handing her an image damaging. he is insistent that she has dropped it, yet Rowan is optimistic that it isn't hers. whilst he does not enable up, Rowan takes the adverse from him, yet as soon as at domestic, she throws it within the trash. it is not until eventually an unusual lady methods Rowan within the lunch room that she provides a moment proposal to the negative.
The lady, Bee, is some years older and often is the comparable age as her brother, Jack, if Jack have been nonetheless alive. It seems Bee observed the stumble upon on the store and asks Rowan what was once at the detrimental. Rowan retrieves it from the trash, and Bee develops it.

Her mom is essentially comatose with grief. it is as much as Rowan to maintain herself and her little sister, Stroma, surviving.
Finding the damaging starts off a chain of occasions that could both heal Rowan's relations as soon as and for all, or be the final straw that makes it collapse into everlasting destruction. the tale is superbly written and should absolutely contact the guts of all who learn it.
